What You’ll Be Responsible For
Circle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to lead, as a Senior Director, our Industry Marketing and Account Based Marketing functions. This person will be based in the United States, but will have a global remit. This role reports to the VP of Growth Marketing and serves as the primary liaison with global Business Development for pre-Sales Demand Generation initiatives. The leader will develop our account-centric demand generation plan across multiple products, verticals, channels, and geographies, and drive industry and deal-specific positioning initiatives to deliver pre-Sales consideration and pipeline. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Creative Labs, Sales Development, Field Marketing, and Marketing Operations. Your team will develop and implement customized deal-centric positioning for pre-sales prospecting and deal maturation, mapping product messages to customer needs to drive engagement with target markets. Strong stakeholder management with Revenue and cross-functional leadership is essential.
What You’ll Work On Own global pipeline mix and conversion funnel for core products from a Marketing perspective, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Develop deal-specific positioning and collateral in target industry verticals (beginning with Payments and Banking) that leverage product marketing assets to create compelling narratives for the BD team.
Manage stakeholders within the Revenue organization to gather signals and feedback on prospect interactions.
Own target account lists across product, industry, and geography in coordination with Revenue Strategy.
Lead ABM engagements for named accounts and coordinate with SDR teams for targeted execution.
Manage ABM budget allocation in partnership with Performance Marketing and agency partners.
Collaborate with Marketing Operations to refine tactics and content based on campaign activity and opportunities.
What You’ll Bring To Circle
Core Requirements
12+ years of experience in Account Based Marketing, Demand Generation, Industry marketing, strategic go-to-market, or product/partner marketing, ideally with hands-on execution in crypto, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure verticals.
5+ years of people management experience and 5+ years partnering with Sales and Business Development teams.
Expertise in B2B campaign & B2B2C design and deployment, messaging, results analysis, and reporting.
Proven ability to develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for complex, technical products.
Robust knowledge of how money moves in a global construct.
Exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to credibly engage with cross-functional leaders to drive results.
High integrity, curiosity, and a proactive leadership approach in ambiguous environments.
Preferred Requirements Understanding of how fintech / crypto infrastructure enables automation and acceleration of money movement, storage, and access.
Strong time management and project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Demonstrated success navigating complex business environments and driving efficient execution.
