The Vice President/Senior Vice President of Fixed Income Credit Research will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental analysis across leveraged loans. This role focuses on monitoring market developments, assessing relative value, and generating actionable investment ideas. The individual will produce research reports, form and communicate credit opinions, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to support the firm’s fixed income platform. Key Responsibilities: Conduct fundamental credit research with an eye toward monitoring markets and relative value across the asset class. Develop and communicate trade ideas based on credit analysis and market trends. Produce detailed company reports and sector updates for internal distribution. Disseminate credit opinions and market insights to internal stakeholders and external clients. Monitor credit events, macroeconomic developments, and industry trends to inform research views. Maintain coverage of assigned sectors and issuers, updating views as new information becomes available. Collaborate with internal teams including sales, research, and strategy to support investment decisions. Engage with institutional clients to discuss credit views, investment themes, and market developments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred. 6+ years of experience in credit research, preferably within leveraged finance or high-yield markets. Strong understanding of credit markets, financial statement analysis, and loan documentation. Proficiency with Bloomberg and other financial research platforms. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. Ability to generate thoughtful, well-supported investment ideas and articulate views clearly. Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $175,000 - $250,000. About the company
