Provide legal advice and services regarding vendor contracting, including navigating legal, policy, and operational issues related to privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies in health care. An individual in this role Responsibilities

Serves as a lead resource to Enterprise Procurement function regarding vendor contracting in one or more subject matter areas impacting various Centene product lines and programs Provides legal advice to Centene and its affiliated entities and health plans to define and develop solutions to regulatory requirements and industry best practices Reviews regulations, industry practices, vendor-sourcing RFPs and other documents affecting such activities and to identify and respond appropriately to regulatory risks or opportunities Reviews, drafts and negotiates contracts, policies and procedures and related documents Manages outside counsel and directs, monitors and develops legal strategies in connection with vendor disputes Directs and conducts training and process improvement activities Acts as a lead Corporate Counsel on projects or certain matters Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience

Juris Doctor (JD) required 5+ years of experience in the areas of corporate or health law required 5+ years of experience with government contract law, health law and managed care preferred Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and/or ACA marketplace insurance, state insurance and HMO regulations preferred IAPP Privacy Or Similar Subject Matter Certification Preferred Bar Admission and currently in good standing required Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range $182,100.00 - $345,600.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
