Finance Business Analyst role at Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit. EOSi, a Chenega Professional Services company, is seeking a highly motivated Financial Business Analyst to support the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) and the Director of Technology Readiness. The position focuses on managing and streamlining financial and business processes, supporting contract actions, and conducting data‑driven analysis to enhance decision‑making and operational efficiency. Responsibilities and qualifications reflect a need for strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in financial management, project management, and business process development in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

Financial Management and Analysis: Serve as the Business Finance Manager for the CDAO and TECH offices in association with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), ensuring effective financial oversight and management.

Budget planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.

Monitor and track obligations, expenditures, and funding allocations to ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and policies.

Develop financial models to provide actionable insights for leadership.

Prepare and present financial reports, briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Business Process Development: Assist in the development and implementation of front‑office business processes to improve operational efficiency.

Identify process gaps and recommend solutions to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial and business operations.

Contract Management Support: Facilitate the development, review, and ushering of contract actions, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and Justifications and Approvals (J&As).

Collaborate with acquisition and contracting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of contract actions.

Track contract deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Project Management: Support planning, execution, and monitoring of projects within the CDAO and TECH offices.

Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables; coordinate with stakeholders to meet milestones on time and within budget.

Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies; maintain an organized system for tracking action items across initiatives.

Provide regular updates to leadership and develop tools to improve action item tracking and reporting.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct analysis of business and operational data to support strategic decision‑making.

Utilize data visualization tools to create clear reports for stakeholders.

Support the integration of financial and operational data into enterprise systems to enhance data‑driven decision‑making.

Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between the CDAO and other offices to align financial and business priorities.

Provide guidance on financial and business management best practices; communicate complex concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned by the CDAO, CIO/Deputy CIO, OCIO Executive Assistant, Government Leads, OCIO leadership, or EOSi leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, business analysis, project management, or related roles.

Strong knowledge of federal financial management regulations, policies, and processes.

Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

Experience with contract management processes and documentation.

Ability to obtain public trust/Secret Clearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of executive suite operations and CIO functions; strong oral and written communication; highly organized and detail‑oriented; advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Power BI and Tableau; strong interpersonal skills; analytical and proactive with process improvement mindset; familiarity with project management methodologies; understanding of federal IT compliance, financial management, and acquisition principles (SOWs, IGCEs, J&As); knowledge of data analytics and AI applications in business processes; ability to adapt to evolving needs and manage high‑pressure environments.

Estimated Salary USD $150,000.00/Yr. Up to USD $160,000.00/Yr.
