Overview
Role: PeopleSoft Techno-functional Location: Seattle, WA Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Contract type: Full-time (IT Contractor context appears in listings) Responsibilities
Perform requirements gathering with end users, design solutions to meet requirements, build and unit test the solution, help end users test the solution, and ensure it meets expectations before deploying to production environments. Map functional requirements to technical requirements and advise on the best technical solutions for business needs. Develop and implement documented technical designs to meet business requirements, primarily focused on PeopleSoft HR, Benefits, Payroll applications and their integrations with various third-party applications. Unit test system changes; identify and resolve issues. Document configurations and participate in walkthroughs; assist in preparation of system test plans, test cases, and scripts. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking programs to ensure desired results. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Participate in code and technical requirements reviews and code deployments. Ensure code adheres to standards for accessibility, scalability, usability, security, object-oriented practices, and performance. Provide 24x7 on-call support as needed. Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years’ experience. Specialized knowledge on PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 with latest PeopleTools version; expertise in Core HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Payroll Modules. Project management experience handling end-to-end projects including team management. Strong system knowledge of PeopleSoft HR applications and integrations with Benefits vendors, Taleo, and other third-party integrations. Experience developing interfaces, bolt-on applications, enhancements, reports, conversion programs, workflow design using PeopleTools technologies (Integration Broker, Webservices, Application Package PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Approval framework, SQR, BI Publisher). Experience configuring secure file transfers (Cygwin, PSFTP, SSH) and encryption/decryption of data (PGP). Ability to configure PeopleSoft systems to meet business requirements. Experience in SQL Server/Oracle programming and performance scripting; development of jobs using PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and Autosys. Experience with third-party migration tools (STAT) and setting standards for design and coding. Educational requirement: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Seniorities & Employment
