Team Description We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our My Disney Today team within Workforce Technology (WFT). This role will execute our digital product strategy, delivering best-in-class product design experiences that surpass employee expectations and drive key business outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Strategy, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and multiple segment business partners to deliver exceptional user experiences and advance design system evolution.
Responsibilities of Role
5+ years of experience in product design, with a proven track record of leading design projects from concept to launch.
Demonstrated expertise in integrating AI functionality into product design is a plus.
Experience designing and extending product design systems.
A robust portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including case studies that highlight problem-solving, design process, and impact.
Must Haves
Proficient with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable design.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
Proficient in ADA and WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
Proficient in creating responsive designs across device viewports.
Knowledge of AI technologies for personalizing user interactions and recommendations is a plus.
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Excellent visual design and communication skills, with the ability to present design solutions effectively.
A keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences.
Comfortable in a large team setting and excited to collaborate with Product, Engineering and Business stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Compensation The hiring range for this position in Seattle is $132,500 - $177,600 per year and in California is $126,400 - $169,500 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on level and position offered.
