Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

This OB/GYN hospitalist opportunity is with TeamHealth at JFK Medical Center - Edison in Edison, New Jersey. The role includes 24-hour, in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist shifts and occasional daytime full-scope OB/Gyn services in JFK’s family medicine residency clinic. Prenatal patients at the clinic will be referred to the OB/Gyn hospitalist team for inpatient care. About the Role Flexibility and work/life balance: flexible schedule with the choice of 5 shifts per month and up to 8 shifts per calendar month No billing or coding responsibilities Professional growth: collaborate with the medical director on quarterly drills and simulations and nursing education; access to TeamHealth’s professional development tools and nationwide network of OB/GYN professionals Responsibilities Provide 24-hour in-house OB/Gyn hospitalist coverage and support in the ED and inpatient settings Support outpatient clinic gynecology services as needed and coordinate with family medicine residents Collaborate with nursing staff, certified nurse midwives, and FM residents to ensure high-quality patient care Serve as part of the obstetric and gynecologic care team for inpatients referred from the residency clinic Qualifications Board-certified OB/GYN physician with active and current skills across the full breadth of OB/GYN New Jersey medical license to practice Comfortable teaching medical students and family medicine residents Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $160 to $160 hourly, with potential additional compensation through an RVU incentive plan Full-time clinicians are eligible for comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, long- and short-term disability, and more Please apply to learn more about this opportunity.
