Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition at Turo, focused on leading and optimizing HR technology with a primary focus on Workday HCM. The role drives the full lifecycle of the people systems roadmap, ensuring business enablement, strong user experience, and long-term scalability. This role emphasizes deep Workday expertise (security, reporting, advanced compensation) and a track record of identifying and implementing solutions that streamline processes and improve data-driven insights. What You Will Do
Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders; understand key initiatives and business needs; recommend process improvements and technology solutions; manage projects from small to large scale. Translate business requirements into scalable, effective solutions. Lead Workday system enhancements and optimization projects from concept through deployment (requirements, design, configuration, testing, change management). Provide advanced production support: triage complex tickets, troubleshoot system issues, deliver end-user support, research alternatives, and implement enhancement requests. Manage incoming people system requests and, when needed, engage third-party consultants to handle advanced configuration and integration projects, including requirements, testing, and user training. Configure and administer Workday business processes, security groups, and EIBs; design, configure, and maintain Advanced Compensation plans in alignment with strategy and compliance. Manage and optimize Workday security architecture, roles, and assignments to ensure data privacy and compliance; conduct regular audits for integrity and improvements. Develop complex Workday reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to provide actionable insights for People and business leaders. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement AI-driven solutions to automate HR tasks and improve the employee experience. Define reporting requirements with stakeholders; deliver accurate, timely, and insightful data. Assess new Workday features and conduct regression testing during release cycles; advise on adoption and impact. Ensure data integrity across Workday and downstream systems; follow data governance, compliance, and security policies. Document processes and procedures; assist with end-user training and quick reference guides. Promote best practices, holistic design, and thorough testing to ensure quality work and system stability. Your Profile
Deep knowledge of Workday foundational concepts, security, reporting, calculated fields, touchpoints, and release cycles. Expert-level Workday reporting skills (custom reports, matrix reports, dashboards); BIRT knowledge is a plus. Proven ability to design and implement robust Workday security models (RBAC and contextual security). Strong experience with at least three Workday modules (HCM Core, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Recruiting); experience with Workday Learning or Talent is a plus. Strong working knowledge of Workday integrations (e.g., EIB, Cloud Connect for Benefits, RaaS). Proficiency with generative AI models (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) for data analysis, reporting, and process automation; experience using AI-powered tools in HRIS for accuracy. Solid understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle, and HR data flows; experience with data governance, handling sensitive data, and SOX compliance. Excellent project management and communication skills; ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical audiences. Ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels, influence decisions, and apply change management principles. Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality;快速 learner of new technologies; creative and scalable problem-solver. 7+ years of experience in HRIS or related systems analysis, including HRIS configuration and solution implementation. 5+ years of hands-on Workday development, configuration, implementation, and global support experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent; Master’s degree in Information Technology preferred. Preferred certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Prosci change management. For this role, the target base salary range is: San Francisco, $140,000 - $175,000; Phoenix, $115,000 - $144,000. Eligible for equity and benefits.
