Overview
Title: MSBI Solution Architect Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 10-12 months Rates: DOE Prefer locals or someone willing to relocate once Covid-19 situation settles down. Responsibilities
As a Microsoft BI Architect, you will get the opportunity to demonstrate a broad range of skills across the Microsoft stack, including designing and building OLTP and data warehouse workloads across traditional on-premises and cloud platforms. You will have a clear understanding of the Microsoft data platform, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) paradigms and be confident in designing, articulating and delivering exciting and ground breaking solutions to end-clients. Design and build MSBI solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms Build relationships with clients to establish a high-level of MSBI expertise Enterprise designs including high-availability, platform migration, high-performing solutions Work with clients, local teams and offshore resources to deliver modern BI solutions Work effectively on client sites and from home Knowledge of SQL Server versions 2005 to 2017 Broad range of skills across the Microsoft stack e.g. SQL Server, Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services, and Reporting Services (SSRS) from versions 2005 to 2017 Experience with the Azure stack and Microsoft PaaS offerings, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse plus orchestration products like Azure Data Factory and Enterprise Service Bus Familiarity with other cloud providers e.g. Amazon, Google Tools & Technologies
Visualization and data exploration tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.
