Job Summary The Corporate Development Senior Manager will support the VP of Corporate Development on acquisition strategy, acquisition execution, and other key projects. The role collaborates with region presidents, business unit leaders, and senior leadership across the company on various acquisition opportunities. It will also engage with Strategy & Development colleagues in other Divisions and CRH Group to ensure alignment on key processes and promote sharing of best practices.
Job Location This role is based at our corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA - hybrid work schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with the acquisition (M&A) process including market and business assessments, due diligence, valuation and modeling, contract negotiation, and post-closing issue tracking
Analyze market reports and company information to assess potential acquisition opportunities
Prepare detailed financial models to evaluate businesses
Draft proposals, presentations, and other deliverables for senior leadership in support of acquisitions, investments, and other strategic initiatives
Lead due diligence processes, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Prepare ad-hoc research for the VP of Corporate Development, President, and other members of the management team
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of relevant experience, with some corporate development, consulting, investment banking or private equity experience highly preferred
Strong leadership skills with strengths in strategic thinking, financial modeling, and risk assessment
Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
Strong presentation and communication skills with senior leaders
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments
High learning agility and drive to achieve
Ability to travel approximately 25%
