Overview

Vice President of Market Development, Auto. This is a remote position that may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management. Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally to improve revenue performance through the Auto Retail channel, including creation, management, and success of multiple sales campaigns focused on solution adoption. Develop and present client-facing material and proactively work with customers to identify and address their business drivers as the auto subject matter expert. Leverage industry knowledge and contacts to identify new customers, partners, and product and market needs; play a leading role in business development initiatives. Direct and manage initiatives across the line of business three-year plan and other strategic initiatives, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Develop, activate, measure, and refine go-to-market plans, sales campaigns, and execution motions; partner with sales leadership to define goals and KPIs and enable teams to achieve objectives through well-managed initiatives and performance tracking. Engage with customers and prospects to build executive-level relationships and communicate TransUnion’s strategy, market perspective, and capabilities. Represent TransUnion as a thought leader at industry conferences and events; coordinate with internal teams to align messaging and strategy. Manage priorities and set expectations with stakeholders through clear, consistent communication; influence decision-making with well-structured reasoning and persuasive communication. Demonstrate strong problem solving and interpersonal skills within a diverse team; apply deep knowledge of the Automotive Retail ecosystem and related stakeholder dynamics. Lead with a business-minded approach, balancing operational execution with strategic vision; act as a liaison among OEMs, dealers, lenders, data providers, and other partners. Possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects independently; proficient with modern productivity tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, Excel). Indirectly or directly manage a Senior Consultant as the Auto focus area grows. Qualifications

15+ years of experience in automotive, marketing, and consumer data, with exposure to financial services, originations, and/or product development Self-starter who can develop a strategy and business plan to expand TransUnion Auto into the Retail space and execute that plan Ability to think dynamically about the Auto ecosystem and collaborate with customers to address marketing, acquisition, and customer experience needs Experience uncovering customers’ problems and developing solutions leveraging TransUnion’s capabilities Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to take concepts to maturity and commercialization in a cross-functional matrix environment 10+ years in business management, strategic planning, or corporate strategy; strategy consulting experience is a plus Experience building and refining go-to-market plans, sales campaigns, and execution motions; ability to define goals and KPIs with sales leadership Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to inform go-to-market strategies Strong leadership, listening, and communication skills with the ability to engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders Solid understanding of the Automotive Retail ecosystem, dealer operations, OEMs, lenders, and data providers Travel up to 25% of the time Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred Benefits

Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $193,500.00 - $406,500.00. The salary range reflects a reasonable estimate; actual compensation depends on factors such as education, training, experience, and market considerations. Regular, full-time non-sales positions may be eligible for annual bonus plans; long-term incentives and other compensation may apply where permissible. Internal job title: VP, Strategic Planning.
