Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established program with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in New Smyrna Beach. This location has served the community since 2023 and is part of our larger oncology services that have been a trusted presence in Central Florida for over 20 years. The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist-oncologist to join our group and support continued growth in the region. This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services seeing a variety of hematology and oncology patients at AdventHealth New Smyrna There would also be time spent in our newly renovated outpatient clinic in Oviedo, Florida. The practice consists of four physicians and multiple APPs Infusion, Radiation and Surgical services available at AdventHealth New Smyrna and surrounding hospitals Access to multidisciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials (including Phase 1) and tumor boards (daily) The ideal candidate will have experience with practice building in a new market and seeing a variety of hematologic malignancies and solid tumor patients. Rotation of call would be shared with the other physicians in the practice including weekends Practice will have support of nurse navigators, social workers, chaplains, pharmacy, nutrition, etc. Extended network of 7 other medical oncology sites in and surrounding Orlando AdventHealth was ranked by US News & World Report among the top 50 in the nation for six medical specialties, including Cancer, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology and GI surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and orthopedics.
