We are seeking a talented individual to operate nuclear imaging equipment and prepare radiopharmaceuticals. Your work will provide physicians with essential images of organs like the heart, helping them diagnose and plan effective treatment for our patients. Virginia Mason Franciscan Health brings together two award-winning health systems in Washington state—CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason—as part of one integrated health system with broad patient access points in western Washington. You will be part of a team that provides high-quality care across 11 hospitals and nearly 300 sites in the Puget Sound region. Pay range: $55.13 - $78.11 per hour. Operate nuclear imaging equipment and prepare radiopharmaceuticals. Provide physicians with essential images of organs (e.g., heart) to aid diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure imaging tools are ready and up-to-date with the latest developments in nuclear medicine to deliver top-notch care. Qualifications

Education/Work Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program resulting in an associate's degree or bachelor’s degree. Job Knowledge/Abilities: Knowledge of the principles, standards and practices applicable to the field of nuclear medicine in a healthcare environment. Knowledge of the functionality, operation and maintenance of nuclear medicine tools and equipment. Knowledge of the current aspects of patient care relative to Nuclear Medicine. Knowledge of the content and application of regulatory requirements applicable to the function. Ability to understand and apply safety guidelines to mitigate risk and/or exposure in handling, storing and disposing of nuclear materials. Ability to perform nuclear medicine procedures efficiently and effectively, ensuring that equipment is calibrated properly and dosages are appropriate. Ability to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established department protocols. Ability to read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position. Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position. Licensure/Certification: Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) (N) Current healthcare provider BLS Certification Where You'll Work
