Overview The Hospitalist team at the

M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center

is seeking a Physician Assistant who is passionate about inpatient medicine and excited about clinical quality. This role will function as a critical member of the health care team working collaboratively with a group of Hospitalists (both physicians and advanced practice providers). The care team delivers care to inpatients at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center; both East and West Bank campuses.

Practice Details

This position meets our patient needs through working block schedule of 7 on 7 off.

Minimum of 30% evening work will be required

No nights!

FTE is 1.0

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to work on various services.

Cross cover

Admissions, rounding, discharges

Medical consults on inpatient behavioral health

Rapid response and code sepsis, optional service

Must be interested in working in a large academic environment with high acuity and complex patients.

We have a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

BC/BE through NCCPA

Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice

Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota

Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

Inpatient experience preferred

Compensation The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
