A leading technology company is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative

Senior Electrical Engineer

to join its Research & Development team and play a key role in expanding its electrical engineering capabilities. The ideal candidate will take ownership of all aspects of electrical design across both existing and new product development initiatives. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and initiative, with regular communication to stakeholders. The role also involves client interaction and technical troubleshooting, and reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer. Responsibilities

Develop and define system-level control architectures for new products. Design schematics for circuit boards used in precision measurement and control systems. These may include: Motion control (stepper and servo motors) Laser diode and incandescent source control UART and CANbus communication Displays, microcontrollers, and various input interfaces Maintain configuration control for all circuit board designs. Perform PCB layout and generate fabrication documentation. Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies. Specify cable harnesses and collaborate with mechanical designers on integration. Advise production teams on best practices for electronics integration. Create and maintain design documentation and work instructions. Support product certification processes (e.g., CE compliance). Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in schematic design and PCB layout. Strong hands-on skills with lab equipment (e.g., soldering, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers). Experience with firmware or PC-based test applications is a plus. Familiarity with FPGAs and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques is advantageous. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Adaptability to new technologies and processes. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to guide clients toward effective solutions. Creative problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.
