Leads operations for the QE function including budgets, schedules, performance standards, and proposal efforts for the QE team. Leads the application and integration of mission assurance tools and methods across the product lifecycle. Ensures quality, risk management, safety, process improvement, and supplier quality in accordance with contractual requirements; drives early predictive indicators of risk. Learns program performance and risks through metrics and feedback; determines resources to ensure mission success. Sets strategy to meet customer expectations; communicates program status and provides situational awareness internally and externally. Promotes professional development of the Quality workforce and fosters a collaborative culture focused on engagement, affordability, innovation, value growth, and continuous improvement. Provides clear assignments, connects individual efforts to the bigger picture, and fosters an inclusive work environment; supports leadership development and succession planning; partners with Business leaders on leadership depth and proposal readiness. Engages on the shop floor to provide direct support and coaches facility personnel in quality methods and procedures. Maintains compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure product quality and conformance to standards and customer requirements. Uses metrics and feedback to assess performance and risks and determine resources to achieve high performance. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in quality, engineering, and/or manufacturing (or Master’s degree with 6+ years) 5+ years of formal management experience Experience across program/product lifecycle including design, supply chain, receiving operations, inventory control, production control, testing, reliability, root cause analysis, and product sell-off Experience managing both salaried and union employees Experience applying quality principles and practices supporting manufacture and test of complex assemblies Experience engaging on the shop floor to provide solutions and mentor others in quality practices Experience with in-process/final inspection, NDT, receiving inspection and calibration Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications

Close tolerance inspection processes experience Heavy equipment final assembly and test experience Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Experience with DCMA, DoD, MDA Experience with Naval specifications such as T9001B Master’s degree in engineering or a technical field Broad experience in mission assurance, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and global supply chain Defense industry experience as a Program/Project Manager, Quality Manager, Engineering Manager or Manufacturing Manager Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $154,600.00 - $231,800.00 The salary range is a general guideline; base offers depend on scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may be available for certain roles.
