Marquee Brands is a fast growing and dynamic consumer focused PE fund with offices in New York and LA currently seeking a talented Program Associate with a passion for investing and a deep understanding of consumer brands and services. Marquee Brands sits within Neuberger Berman, a 75 year old global investment firm with $515bn of AUM, including $140bn within Private Equity and $208bn within Private Credit. Marquee Brands is dedicated to acquiring high quality consumer brands with proven heritage and resonance. Marquee seeks to create a diversified portfolio, which currently consists of 19 brands spanning fashion, active & outdoor, and home & culinary and includes brands such as Martha Stewart, Sur La Table, America’s Test Kitchen, BCBG, Ben Sherman and Dakine. Marquee Brands also has a significant media capability, creating long form linear TV content, short form video, books, magazines and digital subscription products for its brand portfolio. Marquee is looking for a Program Associate to join the investment team and contribute to all aspects of the investment process in addition to working with Marquee’s operational team on business development and high priority strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for consumer investing and be eager to hone their investment analysis and transaction execution abilities. The role is dynamic, with exposure to modeling investment returns and negotiating vendor pricing. While Marquee sits within Neuberger Berman, the core Marquee team is small and offers significant direct interaction with senior professionals. NB Private Equity is entrepreneurial and Program Associates will have opportunities to participate in developing new fund strategies. Currently, the hybrid work schedule for this position is 4 days in the office. The hybrid schedule may be modified or eliminated at any time at Neuberger Berman’s discretion. Primary Responsibilities

Analyzing and conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential investments across the consumer brands and services landscape Performing in-depth analysis and market research on different sectors of consumer products Financial modeling, scenario analysis and returns analysis on potential brand investment opportunities Preparation of due diligence materials, analysis and investment committee memos Assistance with raising debt financing in the bank and broadly syndicated loan markets in support of M&A and other business development initiatives Assistance in drafting of acquisition documents (term sheets, asset purchase agreements, license agreements, etc.) Ongoing monitoring of existing investments Supporting the operations team on high-priority strategic initiatives and new business development Preparing fundraising materials and assisting with existing client requests Conducting special projects including development of new investment products and strategies Experience & Skills Qualifications

Must have excellent academic credentials (undergraduate school and GPA) Must have 1-4 years of top-tier investment banking program experience Ideally will have prior experience with consumer brands or consumer services and multi-unit concepts, but not a must Must have exceptional quantitative and financial modeling skills Must have strong judgment, critical thinking and written skills; ability to articulate and present ideas effectively both orally and in written form Must show initiative and creativity in problem solving; demonstrated experience in conducting research and collaborating to develop solutions Must have ability to multi-task with attention to detail Must have a team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects Must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple internal and external work streams concurrently Open to positions in New York The salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000. This range is provided in good faith and may be modified in the future. Pay depends on factors including education, qualifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs. This job is eligible for a discretionary bonus as part of the total compensation. Note: No amount of pay is considered wages or compensation until earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus or other compensation are in the company’s sole discretion unless paid and may be modified at the Company’s discretion, consistent with the law.
