Position Overview: Our Antitrust and Competition Economics practice is a leader in economic analysis, advice, and testimony for antitrust and merger matters worldwide. We tailor analyses to the facts of each case, employing tools such as merger simulation, upward pricing pressure analysis, econometrics, bargaining theory, or game theory as needed. We communicate sophisticated economic analyses clearly in court or regulatory settings. What can CRA do for you? Responsibilities
Support the development and presentation of client deliverables, including expert reports and accompanying data. Work with leading academics and senior practitioners to provide economic analyses of mergers and competition matters before major authorities. Supervise, train, and mentor junior analysts in a collaborative environment. Manage workstreams and design complex economic and financial models to analyze data. Program, build models, and perform regression analyses in statistical software (e.g., Stata, SAS, R, Python). Ensure integrity and accuracy of analyses and opinions.
Qualifications
MBA with 4-7 years of experience or Ph.D./ABD in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Expertise in industrial organization, applied microeconomics, econometrics, labor, IP, pricing, corporate finance, or quantitative areas. Prior consulting experience is a plus; teaching, research, or industry experience desirable.
