What You’ll Get To Do This position is a dual-hat position requiring the candidate to perform functional management activities as well as technical responsibilities on the program. It is expected that the Functional management role will comprise approximately 20% of the candidate\'s time, and the technical role will comprise approximately 80% of the candidate\'s time. Functional management responsibilities: assess staffing needs, support recruitment activities (creation of requisitions, interviewing, offers), work with program leaders to establish goals, perform evaluations, and provide career development, mentoring, discipline as necessary, and generate training plans based on program needs. Technical responsibilities: data visualization, data transformation, development of software for analytics tools, interface with requirements in a model-based systems engineering environment, allocate requirements to detailed design, design and test displays and interfaces, develop simulation software for data analysis, develop AI algorithms for data analysis, maintain databases, collaborate with Systems and Quality Engineers to ensure software requirements are met, and develop Digital Transformation Dashboards and other software solutions. Perform software peer reviews, version control, automated tests, software analysis, CI/CD in accordance with DevSecOps. This position may offer a competitive relocation package. You’ll Bring These Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Program Access within a period of time that meets current business needs. 1 year of experience leading projects, driving performance against schedules, and interfacing with customers. Experience developing semantic data ontologies. Experience with statistics, including sampling techniques, survey design, and precision measures. Experienced in programming languages, statistical packages, and computer-based data systems. Experience working with large datasets. Nice To Have Ability to provide technical guidance on data design, collection, and statistical analysis. Strong written and oral communication skills for reports, presentations, and documentation. Leadership skills to support management, peers, and customers in data science best practices. Ability to work independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Initiative in determining and pursuing effective courses of action. Experience in developing and guiding advanced technological ideas into final products. Salary and additional information: Primary Level Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $224,000.00. The above salary range is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may be offered. Annual bonuses are designed to reward contributions and allow employees to share in company results. VP/Director roles may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
