Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of power distribution system designs and prepare technical specifications for procuring major electrical equipment and installation services. Support project management efforts to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. Create and review functional design documentation, including single-line diagrams, relay and metering layouts, cable block diagrams, and schematics. Conduct and validate detailed engineering calculations such as voltage drop analysis, protective relay settings, arc flash assessments, and auxiliary power system studies. Collaborate with vendors to develop bills of material and equipment specifications, and provide informed recommendations to stakeholders. Produce clear, concise technical reports and studies that align with client expectations and internal formatting standards. Perform independent reviews of engineering work, including drawings and calculations, to ensure accuracy and consistency. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support for professional development. Engage in peer learning through structured processes and professional communities focused on continuous improvement. Participate in site visits for design reviews, construction coordination, and field verification. Essential Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; specialization in power systems is preferred.
