Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX/Interaction Designer in Chicago, IL. Duties Include: Responsibilities
Tackle open-ended challenges by gathering insights, exploring user needs, and shaping thoughtful design solutions Lead design efforts across multiple initiatives including intranet modernization, hiring platforms, and marketing campaigns Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life Communicate design decisions clearly, adapting your message for different audiences Balance pixel-perfect execution with strategic thinking, keeping both detail and big-picture goals in mind Work within established design systems while identifying opportunities to evolve patterns and components Contribute to team growth by sharing feedback, mentoring peers, and fostering collaboration Manage priorities across multiple fast-moving projects with confidence and clarity Requirements
5+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing impactful work across digital products and features Strong foundation in interaction and visual design, including layout, typography, and responsive design principles Proven ability to connect design decisions to broader product strategy and user goals Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and how to apply them in real-world scenarios Expert-level proficiency in Figma—including components, variants, prototyping, and branching Experience with prototyping tools; Motion design capabilities are a plus Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and inclusive design practices Familiarity with agile workflows and collaboration with development teams Experience working alongside UX researchers and applying research insights to design decisions Compensation and benefits
The pay range shown is the lowest to highest compensation the employer reasonably believes they would pay at posting for this role. Actual pay may be higher or lower based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
