Develop nucleic acid–based formulations across various scales and characterize them using routine and advanced analytical methods. Design, implement, and troubleshoot experiments to reach project goals. Support formulation efforts for nucleic acid delivery, including optimization and characterization to provide high-quality, well-characterized drug products for in vitro and in vivo evaluation. Conduct experiments, optimize existing formulation methods, and generate standard operating procedures. Communicate research and development findings with internal and external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process transfer, scale-up, and troubleshooting of process issues. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific field. Two years of academic or employment experience with analytical techniques for nanoparticle formulation and characterization, including: Preparation of nanoparticle-based formulations to support in vitro and in vivo studies. Research on nucleic acid formulation, characterization, and wet-lab biology techniques. Experience with various mixing equipment and buffer exchange techniques. Experience in lipid nanoparticle characterization techniques. Experience preparing, reviewing, and revising SOPs and protocols. Part-time telecommuting may be permitted. Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally. Location & Compensation

Job location: Boston, MA. Salary: $106,701 per year. Full-time employees may be eligible for a company bonus based on company and individual performance.
