Human Resources Director
to join our team. About the role: The Meadows of Napa Valley is seeking a dynamic HR Director to lead and elevate our Human Resources function, supporting a team of approximately 200 employees. In this leadership role, you will drive key HR initiatives, champion a positive workplace culture, and help shape strategies to ensure our community thrives in a values-based environment. Pay:
$130,000 - $145,000
annually, DOE. Responsibilities
Lead strategic HR operations by aligning programs and practices with the organization’s mission and Core Values into all aspects of the role. Collaborate with the operations team to implement initiatives that strengthen culture and performance. Manage talent acquisition with regional recruiting support, build onboarding experiences, and equip new hires with tools and knowledge to succeed quickly within the community. Improve employee experience and retention by leveraging HR metrics, identifying areas for growth, and partnering with leaders to create solutions. Support team-building, recognition, and engagement efforts. Oversee HR compliance and administration, including benefits, Workers' Compensation, Return-to-Work programs, and legal requirements. Handle employee relations, performance management, and compensation strategy. Supervise HR staff and lead training, coaching, and leadership development. Maintain and utilize HRIS, scheduling, and payroll systems to support efficient HR operations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification highly preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist with broad background in talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with demonstrated success developing HR infrastructure in similarly sized organizations. Industry experience in retirement living, healthcare, or hospitality is preferred; strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, HRIS, and payroll software. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law, workers' compensation, ADA, and benefits; strategic thinker with strong communication and time management skills. Benefits
