Overview

At Amazon Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWR&R), we aspire to zero: zero cost of returns, zero waste, and zero defects. We are an agile, cross-functional organization building scalable, planet-forward solutions to maximize product lifecycle value and recovery. Our mission is to innovate the future of reverse logistics by developing channels and systems that extend product life, minimize waste, and create new value for Amazon, our customers, and the environment. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead strategy and execution for high-impact product areas at the final touchpoints of the ReCommerce journey. You will own and scale programs that recover value from Amazon’s overstock, returned, and damaged inventory through resale, recycling, and liquidation channels while delivering exceptional operational performance and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for recovery and liquidation pathways in the ReCommerce lifecycle.

Build and scale systems that handle overstock returns, resale optimization, and sustainable recovery mechanisms (e.g., liquidation, recycling, donation).

Drive cost efficiency and recovery optimization through innovation, automation, and new channel development.

Partner with vendor management and business development teams to support and scale 20+ partnerships across resale, B2B, liquidation, and recycling.

Develop and refine pricing strategies and recovery models through supply-demand analysis and data-driven insights.

Collaborate with engineering, program, UX, and analytics teams to build durable, scalable solutions that meet business goals.

Define and monitor key performance metrics, ensure delivery excellence, and maintain high standards of operational performance.

Communicate complex ideas clearly in product documents, strategy papers, and stakeholder updates—including to senior Amazon leadership.

Additional Responsibilities

As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be the end-to-end owner of your product's vision, strategy, and execution. Define the product roadmap and lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, program managers, and other product owners. Drive day-to-day product development from design through to release with concise requirements and measurable success criteria.

Use data to influence business strategy and technical priorities; escalate when necessary without damaging relationships. Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, including senior executives and technical stakeholders.

Independently represent your products and the product team in various settings and ensure alignment with stakeholders.

A day in the life

Dive deep with customers to identify and understand their pain points.

Use technical judgment to test assumptions and think big to build durable products.

Deliver products on time with the right feature set and high quality.

Prepare documents to build support from stakeholders and leaders.

Evangelize products and drive adoption; contribute to organizational product and roadmap planning.

Help others grow professionally.

Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.

Experience with end-to-end product delivery and feature delivery with tradeoffs.

Experience as a product manager or owner and owning technology products.

Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights and working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
