Overview

OpenGov is the leader in AI and ERP solutions for local and state governments in the U.S. OpenGov’s Public Service Platform serves over 2,000 cities, counties, state agencies, school districts, and special districts. The product suite includes enterprise asset management, procurement and contract management, accounting and budgeting, billing and revenue management, permitting and licensing, and transparency and open data. OpenGov ERP helps public sector organizations operate efficiently and deliver ROI across dollars and decisions. The Product Manager will lead product execution for critical business process applications used by OpenGov’s clients. The role is both internal and external facing, execution oriented, and focused on high-quality, solution-oriented product development in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

Define and execute the long-term product vision and strategy for a key component of the Procurement Suite. Product Development:

Lead the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond. Customer Focus:

Understand customer needs, pain points, and success metrics; build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Data-Driven Decision Making:

Analyze product performance data to identify improvements and prioritize initiatives. Industry Expertise:

Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices; ensure product compliance. Requirements and Experience

8+ years of progressive product management experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Proven track record of launching and scaling complex SaaS products, with domain expertise in procurement processes and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred. Some travel required. Compensation

$140k - $159k base range, with on-target earnings comprising base plus a variable component. Final compensation depends on qualifications, expertise, and location. Why OpenGov
