About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational

General Manager

to lead the opening and ongoing operations of our Prince Street boutique. This role requires equal parts luxury sales leadership, operational excellence, and brand stewardship. The General Manager will curate an elevated client experience, build and coach a high-performing team, and strategically drive store performance to meet and exceed goals. In addition, the General Manager will oversee all store operations and full P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability while upholding the highest brand standards.

Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Sales Leadership

Curate a luxury shopping experience through proactive clienteling, personalized consultations, and high-touch service.

Act as a brand ambassador by cultivating loyal client relationships and ensuring every interaction reflects the Ring Concierge aesthetic and values, while guiding teams to uphold CRM data capture standards through accurate and complete information entry during the selling ceremony.

Drive daily performance through KPI management, conversion tracking, and strategic sales planning.

Proven ability to manage and de-escalate tense situations with professionalism and diplomacy.

Team Leadership

Hire, train, inspire, and retain a high-performing sales team committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Lead by example with a strong, consistent presence on the sales floor, demonstrating deep knowledge of jewelry design, trends, and craftsmanship.

Set clear expectations, provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback, and manage performance.

Operational Excellence & Financial Management

Oversee all aspects of store operations including inventory management, shrink prevention, repairs, visual merchandising, and compliance with policies and procedures.

Maintain visual standards and ensure the boutique environment embodies the Ring Concierge brand.

Manage store P&L, budget, and operational efficiency to ensure profitability.

Partner with corporate and field leadership to execute seasonal goals, product launches, and marketing activations.

Store Opening & Foundational Development

Lead the successful launch of the Prince Street boutique, managing hiring, training, store setup, and opening readiness.

Develop and implement all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for store operations.

Establish compensation structures, sales incentives, and performance metrics in alignment with corporate guidelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational systems, policies, and processes are in place for a smooth launch and sustainable success.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in luxury retail; fine jewelry experience strongly preferred.

Proven track record of driving store performance, exceeding sales targets, and delivering profitable results.

Strong business acumen with expertise in KPI management, budgeting, and P&L responsibility.

A commanding presence on the sales floor, skilled in brand storytelling, relationship selling, and clienteling.

Experience hiring, managing, and mentoring high-performing, client-obsessed teams.

Deep passion for design, diamonds, and creating unforgettable client experiences.

Strong operational acumen, including inventory management, merchandising, and compliance.

Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak retail seasons.
