$30/hr Responsibilities

Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System. Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Working collaboratively with and providing leadership to a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support program initiatives that improve the quality, safety, and excellence in care. Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, and operational) that support, protect, and promote the area of specialty. Implementing initiatives in the area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership. Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence. The LPN would work in the discharge lounge 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm. Duties involve discharging patients from the floor to the lounge and tracking in Epic. The LPN would work with a Clin Tech daily. Qualifications

Current LPN in the District of Columbia Current CPR certification 2 years of recent acute care experience Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
