Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Glendale, CA Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Cardiology team in Glendale, CA. This is an outstanding opportunity for a provider interested in working with experienced providers in an ambulatory setting under an employed model affiliated with a top tier hospital system.

Responsibilities

Familiarity with cardiology procedures (e.g., TEE, cardiac cath, stress testing).

Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and physical exams.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions (e.g., CHF, arrhythmias, CAD, hypertension, hyperlipidemia).

Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests including EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, cardiac imaging, and lab work.

Initiate and manage treatment plans under supervision of a cardiologist.

Provide patient education related to heart health, medications, lifestyle changes, and procedural expectations.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care.

Document in the EMR accurately and timely.

Accepting applications from experienced nurse practitioners.

Patient-centered approach with a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

Familiarity with cardiology procedures (e.g., TEE, cardiac cath, stress testing).

Comfortable managing patients with multiple chronic conditions.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care.

Provide patient education related to heart health, medications, lifestyle changes, and procedural expectations.

Document in the EMR accurately and timely.

Armenian or Spanish speaking preferred but not required.

Work Arrangement

Full-time: Monday–Friday schedule.

No call.

Employed through Adventist Health Medical Group (AHMG).

Compensation and Benefits Wage Range: $140,000 – $165,000 per year. Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc., and may also vary based on productivity after the initial guarantee period. This position qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program.
