Overview
SVP, Product – Platform, AI and Value-added services role at U.S. Bank. Lead the vision, roadmap, and execution of Acquiring and Data platform and Value-added services, with a focus on leveraging AI to drive innovation and product-led growth through value-added services. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on product leader with deep expertise in AI, payment processing, cloud, data, and SaaS. As part of Elavon, you will help build platforms and ecosystems used by millions of customers to achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities
Own the vision and roadmap for Elavon’s (MPS) core acquiring platforms globally. Grow VAS monetization by defining strategy and roadmap for value-added products such as fraud tools, tokenization, lending, surcharging, data services, and embedded payouts, and bring to new value-added services. Lead with an AI-first mindset to create tools to migrate customers from legacy platforms and accelerate the evolution of value-added services. Drive the strategy and roadmap for the Elavon Data Platform to drive internal adoption and the evolution of AI-powered value-added services. Lead a high-performance team of product managers and foster deep merchant and partner understanding to generate growth ideas. Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, UX/UI design, risk, and customer support to deliver exceptional product experiences and accelerate adoption. Define, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business trends to stakeholders; ensure product enhancements align with business goals. Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to internal and external stakeholders; present to senior executives on strategy, progress, and performance. Qualifications
15+ years of product leadership experience, including at least 5+ years in payments, fintech, or SaaS platform roles. Deep understanding of payment acquiring gateways, tokenization, and cloud data platforms. Experience leading large-scale product migrations and platform transformations. Experience driving product-led growth through APIs and value-added capabilities. Strong business acumen and technical fluency; able to engage with developers, sales leaders, and C-level executives. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; data-driven decision maker. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to develop relationships across Sales, Finance, Engineering, UX, Marketing, and other partners. Experience with digital transformation initiatives, cloud-based payment infrastructures, and API-led product development. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and risk management principles.
