Bilingual (English/Korean) Staff Accountant
to join our Accounting team on a temporary basis. This role will provide comprehensive support across accounting operations, including translation support. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with strong accounting knowledge, fluency in both English and Korean, and the ability to support the transition of a newly acquired Korean company into our U.S. operations.
This temporary assignment is expected to be full time and run through March 2026. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING : Process and manage Accounts Payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding and payment runs Support period close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries Assist with expense reporting and compliance with company policies Translate financial and operational documents between English and Korean Provide interpretation support for meetings, communications and cross-company collaboration Assist in audits, tax returns, budgeting, and other projects Assist accounts receivable with processing customer invoices and payments Support the integration of financial operations, policies, and reporting between the U.S. and Korean entities during post-acquisition transaction activities WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR : 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within manufacturing Business-fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written) 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger experience Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency with accounting systems (ERP experience a plus) and Excel Excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Familiarity with Korean accounting standards and common business practices Base Pay Range $35 - $45 USD GROUP14 OFFERS COMPELLING BENEFITS Medical, Dental, and Vision: 100% paid for by the company for employees (80% for dependents) with an HSA-eligible plan option for Medical Employee Assistance Program Long-Term and Short-Term Disability Insurance Life Insurance and AD and D Insurance (100% Employer Paid) Option to purchase additional Life and AD and D Insurance (with guaranteed issue) and Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Insurance coverages for you and dependents at affordable rates Discounted rates on Pet Insurance 401(k) with Pre-Tax and Roth options and Company Match Paid Time Off and Floating Holidays Stock Options GROUP14 IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER We love creating opportunities for others by connecting people from widely diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and geographies.
