As a
Manager, Software Engineering (UoP)
on our Eiger team, you will be helping us build best in class systems, with the potential to work on a few projects. This could be Full-stack Node.js Web development, building out the Company’s cloud connected 3D printer / content management system and web-based slicer. This is a true full-stack role, ranging from designing REST APIs, utilising AWS services, optimising Postgres queries and implementing new 3D views in WebGL. You will be responsible for entire features, including decomposition of requirements, hands-on implementation, and cross-team co-ordination. You will have line management responsibilities for the local Software Engineer(s). What will you own:
Design, build, and maintain a world-class multi-tenant website for storing, editing, and printing 3D designs Enable enterprise-class system integrations by creating powerful APIs and beautiful user interfaces Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large scale Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes Mentor junior software engineers Plan for the growth of the Company’s infrastructure Any other duties as reasonably required What you have:
Substantial experience and proven background in building and shipping high quality code with strong CS fundamentals Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience Experience with contemporary web development frameworks (Angular, React/ Redux etc.) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and with people from different engineering disciplines Experience of UNIX shell Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience of leading and motivating team members to ensure KPIs are met Hybrid working with 3 days from our office in Krakow Benefits Highlights for Krakow-based roles
