Position Description: Alexandria Restaurant Partners (ARP) owns and operates ten unique full-service restaurants across Orlando, FL, and Alexandria, VA, with a strong focus on a hyper-local strategy that capitalizes on community ties, guest base, and dedicated team members. Purpose:
Provide leadership at the restaurant level. Directs and supports the management team and hourly team members to consistently execute ARP quality standards, operating systems, procedures, principles, values, mission, core values, and culture. Sets the example for the restaurant. Supervises all restaurant-level managers, chefs, and hourly team members.
Position Responsibilities
People & Leadership:
Develop managers and chefs by following career development plans that foster growth and internal mobility. Manage people processes like manager meetings, one-on-ones, and progressive discipline. Foster a culture of celebration and appreciation. Hire and identify talent and interview potential candidates.
Operations:
Execute ARP's operations vision and core principles. Set and enhance operational standards and processes. Manage day-to-day fires such as facility, people, and equipment. Assess and monitor repair and maintenance. Seek DO support when necessary. Ensure food and beverage quality and consistency. Monitor and ensure consistency in training and development.
Financial:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of their restaurant's P&L. Teach and coach their management teams about their impact on the P&L. Create and monitor action plans when necessary. Teach and cultivate a culture of managing and driving results.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Qualifications
Must have 2 to 3 years of restaurant management experience in full-service, high-volume restaurants.
Demonstrates strong leadership and ability to lead high-performing teams. Provides evidence of ability to obtain results for FOH and BOH operations consistently.
Demonstrates ability to achieve positive financial results at the restaurant level.
High-level organizational skills with multi-task capabilities. Adaptable, able to change priorities and manage workloads with minimal direction.
Demonstrates proactive versus reactive approach. Computer proficiency with a strong knowledge of Microsoft platforms, OpenTable, HotSchedules, and Restaurant365. Detail-oriented. Expert-level follow-through skills.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Dependable, reliable, and highly motivated. Communicates effectively and consistently.
Must be competent on all line stations.
