Who You Are As a Patrol Unarmed Officer

with Allied Universal, you will help create a secure and welcoming environment within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a highly visible presence to deter incidents, and responding promptly to situations. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service while supporting access control and badge protocols. You will contribute to a people-first culture where teamwork and integrity are at the forefront.

DayTime Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thu 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific protocols.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.

Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to maintain a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom setting.

What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Current CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
