Summary: The Global People Operations team drives transformational employee experiences through innovative technology and strategic knowledge systems. Within People Ops, our HR Technology team operates as a strategic innovation hub, leveraging AI, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge content strategy to reshape how our organization learns, adapts, and scales. We're seeking an Information Architect who will design and lead transformational technology solutions that revolutionize how our global workforce accesses, creates, and leverages organizational knowledge. We're looking for someone with serious architecture chops who can design scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain content and knowledge systems. This role will lead the implementation and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions to advance content intelligence and automate knowledge processes. They will leverage data from analytics, user research, and business metrics to inform technical decisions and guide future planning; as well as identifying emerging technologies and pilot innovative solutions that drive transformation and deliver impact at scale within a large enterprise environment. Required Skills: Responsibilities and requirements Create and use AI to make content systems smarter, so content is automatically better, personalized, and delivered proactively

Build detailed content maps (taxonomies and ontologies) to power advanced natural language processing and conversational AI

Help build smart content APIs for smooth knowledge sharing across all platforms and new tech

Plan how our content systems will grow, using generative AI, smart search, and predictive analytics to stay ahead of what the company needs to know

Design connected knowledge systems that link HR tools with wider company intelligence platforms

Team up with product managers, UX researchers, and business stakeholders to turn big ideas into tech solutions and easy-to-understand knowledge systems

Lead game-changing projects that totally rethink how employees get help, using automation to deliver proactive information

Work with global HR program owners to find ways to use AI for content management and make knowledge systems even better

Set the tech rules for how content can be reused, how APIs should work, and how knowledge systems can share info across the org

Help make the People@ taxonomy smarter, turning it into AI-ready knowledge graphs that can power advanced analytics, automatic insights, and chat interfaces

Design knowledge systems that use AI tech like large language models, vector databases, and semantic understanding to give employees better experiences

Pioneer new ways to deliver knowledge, like voice interfaces, augmented reality overlays, and experiences that know what you need based on context

Analyze new content tech, AI, and knowledge management trends to shape long-term investments

Develop architecture strategies to get knowledge systems ready for changing business models, workforce needs, and rules

Research competitors to find the best content tech and knowledge management practices in the industry

Set up innovation systems for quickly trying out new knowledge technologies

Create intricate system integrations across content management platforms, HR systems, analytics tools, and AI services

Develop scalable solutions for content lifecycle management, version control, and knowledge quality through automated testing and AI validation

Use code-based tools (such as Jupyter notebooks) to create, run, and share documents containing live code, text, equations, and data visualizations, supporting rapid prototyping, analytics, and machine learning workflows

Partner with Engineering teams and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and bring innovative disruption in ambiguous spaces

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience

10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise content architecture, knowledge systems design, or HR technology solution development

4+ years of hands-on experience developing complex taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge architectures for AI/ML applications and large-scale systems

Experience implementing AI-enhanced content solutions, including machine learning classification, semantic search, or conversational AI systems

Experience with modern data technologies including vector databases, graph databases, knowledge graphs, and big data platforms

Advanced experience with content management platforms, GraphQL, metadata management, and structured content strategies

Demonstrated track record of leading global technical initiatives with cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and business impact delivery

Strategic thinking experience in technology roadmapping, competitive analysis, and innovation planning

Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience managing complex, ambiguous technical initiatives

Proven communication skills with experience influencing at all levels and drive organizational change

Experience with interactive developer environments to create, iterate and deliver solutions, in partnership with integrated agentic AI coding tools

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Library Science, or equivalent technical field

Advanced certifications in AI/ML, cloud architecture, or enterprise content management

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Java with experience in AI/ML frameworks

Background in conversational AI development, natural language processing, or generative AI implementations

Functional knowledge of HR domain expertise including benefits, compensation, payroll, and global regulatory compliance

Experience with enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Workday, Salesforce) and advanced analytics tools

Track record of successful vendor partnerships for AI technology implementation and strategic technology consulting

Experience leading innovation initiatives in global technology environments

Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI development in enterprise systems

Public Compensation: $151,000/year to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits Industry:
