Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Beavercreek Ohio, is seeking a DevOps Engineer/Principal DevOps Engineer in support of programs at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The candidate will be an active part of a DevOps Engineering team with expertise in GitLab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and related DevOps technologies, and will play a pivotal role in development and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This candidate will be planned to support a production environment on site at NASIC/WPAFB once properly cleared to support mission critical needs. This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on the qualifications listed below. Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and support production environments onsite after clearance. Work within a DevOps Engineering team with expertise in GitLab, Kubernetes, Harbor, and related technologies. Basic Qualifications For a DevOps Engineer

Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance. One of the following: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline Minimum of 2 years experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD technologies Experience with Kubernetes Experience with OCI-compliant container technology and tools (Docker, Podman, etc.) Knowledgeable in development of CI/CD Pipelines Able to obtain IAT Level II certification such as CASP+ or Security+ within 3 months of hire date Basic Qualifications For a Principal DevOps Engineer

Active Department of Defense Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance. One of the following: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 3 years of experience Minimum of 2 years experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD technologies Experience with Kubernetes including deployment and administration of Kubernetes Experience with OCI-compliant container technology and tools (Docker, Podman, etc.) Knowledgeable in development of CI/CD Pipelines Able to obtain IAT Level II certification such as CASP+ or Security+ within 3 months of hire date Preferred Qualifications

Kubernetes related certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, KCSP Experience with managing Kubernetes applications with Helm charts and ArgoCD automated deployments Familiarity with OIDC Authentication and OAuth 2.0 Authorization with Identity Management Applications such as Keycloak Experience hardening, securing the Kubernetes cluster with monitoring and auditing dashboards Experience developing automation techniques that improve deployment speed and service reliability in the containerized environment Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Ruby for automation tasks Experience in Agile environments Experience with Jira and Confluence Understanding of Microservice Architectures Experience with Git and distributed revision-control systems Experience with web services and APIs, including testing with tools such as Postman VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) or similar DevOps architectures Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00 The above salary range is a guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may be available for VP/Director levels.
