About the role As Commercial Counsel you will be part of the Essential Home North American Legal team, reporting directly to the Legal Director, Essential Home North America. The culture is entrepreneurial and teamwork-driven, with a commitment to winning in the marketplace and developing talent. Reckitt is seeking an attorney with experience in advertising law, commercial contracts, and dispute resolution, who will work on other legal matters as needed. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and solve emerging issues creatively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and revise various contracts (e.g., supply, service, and vendor contracts) and prepare/update a library of contract templates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Conduct legal research related to contract law and other relevant topics.
Advise on advertising law related to our brand communication.
Provide guidance on dispute resolution and, where needed, litigation.
Qualifications
Law degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a major corporation in a relevant industry or from a leading law firm.
In-depth knowledge of contract law principles and experience drafting and negotiating a range of contract types.
Knowledge of advertising law.
Experience with dispute resolution and litigation.
Ability to interface effectively with internal senior management.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
Clear and effective communication with a commitment to responsiveness and problem-solving.
Strong desire to learn the business and work smoothly as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation US salary ranges: USD $158,000.00 – $236,000.00
US pay transparency: The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience, training and education, skills, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
