This part-time Senior Counsel role is designed for experienced litigators to lead meaningful case work, mentor litigation teams, and deliver strategic results while billing approximately 100 hours per month. Lead strategy and oversight for complex insurance defense and civil litigation matters Collaborate with attorneys across teams, offering high-level guidance and mentoring junior litigators Oversee case development from inception to resolution, including trial preparation when needed Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, balancing exceptional representation with practical solutions Contribute meaningfully while maintaining a flexible schedule of approximately 100 billable hours per month Who You Are
You are a highly experienced litigator (8+ years) with a strong background in insurance defense or complex civil litigation. You’ve led high-stakes cases and thrive on strategy, courtroom advocacy, and collaboration. You’re looking to stay active in litigation without the demands of a full-time role—and you’re energized by mentoring, advising, and making an impact with flexibility and purpose. What You’ll Do
Develop a case theme that is persuasive and principled Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs and trials Work as part of a team with all levels of experience Maintain routine communications with clients Cultivate relationships with the firm’s existing and future clients Provide leadership and direction with respect to less experienced attorneys Requirements
