Overview

CT Technologist at Providence performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work. Responsibilities

Perform a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment using a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilize power injectors and monitoring equipment. Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast as directed by the physician onsite. Provide exemplary customer service and participate in a team-based care environment. Apply radiology technology experience in diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy as part of CT procedures. Required Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire Within 1 year of Hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography --or-- National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one year in a CT Scan department preferred Why Join Providence Swedish?
