Cleans, sterilizes, and sets up all types of anesthesia equipment. Assists anesthesia provider with monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management. Prepares anesthesia carts and anesthesia machines with appropriate supplies in a timely manner to facilitate room turnover. Ensures proper functioning, condition, and positioning of anesthesia equipment. Qualifications
Education
Associate\'s Degree Related Field of Study required. Licenses and Credentials: Experience working as an Anesthesia Tech; 1-2 years required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Maintains working knowledge of the name and function of all anesthesia equipment. - Demonstrates knowledge of basic patient care principles. - Ability to work well under extreme pressure and stress. Additional Job Details
