Overview
We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented Drone Pilots to join our Eberl team to support property claims processes by capturing high-quality aerial imagery and data. This candidate will play a crucial role in assessing property damage by operating drones to collect accurate and comprehensive data. This position requires a strong understanding of drone operations, adherence to all applicable laws and regulations governing UASs, and the ability to interpret aerial imagery for claims purposes. Bismarck, ND; Dickinson, ND; Elgin, ND Primary Job Responsibilities
Perform image data collection using high-resolution cameras via Android or iOS devices, as well as drones. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight operations including airspace coordination, equipment assembly and disassembly, and hazard mitigation. Operate drones safely and in compliance with regulations and company policies; use smooth flight techniques and capture images from multiple angles for accurate analysis. Maintain data integrity with regular checks on image quality, sensor accuracy, and proper data storage. Perform quality checks to meet client expectations and collaborate with managers to ensure project requirements and deliverables are understood. Interact with insureds professionally, providing explanations about the nature of the work being conducted. Proficiency with software, data collection platforms, and workflows, including use of Eberl platforms for scheduling and personal profiles. Adhere to FAA Part 107 Certification requirements and ongoing FAA compliance; report incidents immediately to the Operations Manager or Coordinator and communicate with stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience. Backup high-resolution drone (DJI preferred) that follows all FAA guidelines – approved Equipment list provided upon request Adequate equipment to provide 8+ hour daily workload Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities for addressing inspection challenges Detail-oriented mindset with ability to manage and communicate delays effectively Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend, climb, and lift up to 60 pounds Proficiency with technology platforms and dashboards for data analysis and process improvement Effective time management and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to travel frequently and drive for extended periods Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around commercial hazards Customer-focused attitude for resolving complaints and ensuring a positive experience Collaborative and supportive team approach Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment Employment Details
