SAIC is looking for an Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Manager to join our team in Washington, DC at the Department of Transportation (DOT) Headquarters' Building. Responsibilities
See the second and third order impacts of an outage. Provide necessary training for the EOC Technicians. React to events/alerts, run an outage bridge, and provide timely communication to the user community. Hold technicians accountable if they fail to complete duties as assigned. Manage and oversee the operational support within the Data Centers, NOC, and DR team. Manage and assign tasks and deliverables. Demonstrate required technical skills and the ability to organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and execution of all tasks and deliverables assigned. Create and establish new standards and procedures and translate high level work plans into detailed assignments for team members. Monitor and track progress of project and work plan. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree and 14 years or more experience. Education may be considered in lieu of a degree. 10 years of related experience managing and leading teams providing operational support to the Data Centers, Network Operations Center (NOC), and Disaster Recovery (DR) team. Ability to manage a team of 13; multiple shifts to provide end to end monitoring for End User Services and Infrastructure devices across the DOT Network. Able to lead, provide immediate direction on criticality of outages and events. Able to clearly communicate with Federal Customers, technology leads, and vendor support. Ability to obtain a DOT Public Trust, US Citizen or alien who has been lawfully admitted for permanently residence or employment. Top Preferred Qualifications and Certifications
ITIL Foundations V4 or above Managed 24x7 365 Network Operations Center/Monitoring Center Tier 2 and Infrastructure troubleshooting skills Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
