to drive the scale-up of their precision machining capabilities as they approach their first orbital launch.

additive manufacturing and aerospace innovation , working at the cutting edge of propulsion and vehicle hardware development.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own all machining operations across engine and vehicle work centers

Lead a multidisciplinary team of programmers, operators, engineers, and supervisors

Drive operational excellence across cost, quality, throughput, and safety

Develop long-term strategy: capital planning, shift structure, capacity scaling

Champion advanced manufacturing tools (automation, digital work instructions, machine monitoring)

Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams

What We’re Looking For

12+ years in machining/precision manufacturing, including 7+ years in leadership

Deep expertise in multi-axis CNC machining and tight-tolerance aerospace components

Proven experience scaling high-rate production in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of DFM, GD&T, tooling strategies, and machining aerospace-grade metals (Inconel, titanium, aluminum)

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Background in propulsion or launch vehicle component machining

Experience with MES, tool life management, and predictive maintenance

Familiarity with Six Sigma, lean, or automation strategies
