A dominant nationwide distribution company in the apparel and fashion industry is looking for a software engineer to join their ambitious engineering team. This contract-to-hire position is located in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. Technology that is crucial is .NET Core and C#. Contract Duration: 6 months Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience with programming that includes .NET (C#/VB.NET) Experience in APIs and JSON (5+ years) Knowledge of front-end software using Blazor (3+ years) 3+ years\' experience with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Experience building features integrating with external services over APIs Familiarity with Agile development Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities Previous background with cloud platforms such as Azure is a plus What You Will Be Doing
Full Stack 50% front-end development 50% back-end development Daily Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain custom .NET applications with regards to business requirements that use approved technologies and coding standards. Connect with stakeholders to create new features. Find and solve software defects to ensure software systems run smoothly. Maintain code quality through unit testing. Contribute to completion of development tasks and smaller projects while maintaining company standards.
