OPIR TAP Lab System Architect Lead Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Location: On-site Key Responsibilities

Advise Senior Government decision makers on needs and uses for space based OPIR and EO/IR Systems data collection systems. Recommend viable solutions that enhance current mission capabilities. Provide OPIR Phenomenology and exploitation capabilities subject matter expertise. OPIR Missile Warning and Battlespace Awareness Operational Mission Requirements, System specifications and applications for current and future planned systems, including GEO, HEO, MEO and LEO constellations. Development of clear concise presentations for senior level Government decision makers, communicate and recommend solutions that contribute to decision making. Ability to develop system architecture solutions to enable, enhance or support end user mission needs. Ability to draw on network of OPIR R&D exploitation community including NGA, NASIC, TENCAP and other government agencies performing remote sensing data exploitation. Work is on-site, 5 days a week. Frequent travel to Boulder and Aurora, CO is required (approximately 25-30%). Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics or related discipline or 15+ years’ experience with DoD/IC OPIR and/or EO/IR sensor phenomenology, system requirements, application and operations 10 Years experience with OPIR Systems and network architectures, ITWAA reporting 10 Years experience/knowledge of Missile Warning, Missile Defense and/or Battlespace Awareness tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) and Operations Tactical reporting systems including TES, Link 16 TIBS/TRAP, IBS/GBS and GCN Understanding of basic Exceedance, Rep Return, Track, Tactical Parameter Estimation OPIR processing Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position Desired Qualifications

Experience with War Gaming, Exercise Mission Planning and Operations, DoD Test and Evaluation Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Large Language Model (LLMs) and Imagery exploitation Compensation & Benefits

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Basic Compensation: $140,000 to $170,000 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation per internal policy or contractual designation.
