Staff Engineer, Connectivity Software - UWB

What You'll Do
Design, develop, and test software modules for UWB chipsets, with a focus on physical and MAC layer functionality. Debug real-time systems, working hands-on with development boards and lab equipment Participate in feature bring-up/interoperability activities with external certification labs as well as customer sites. Collaborate with product S/W and manufacturing teams to provide system-level API and firmware functionality to meet end-user requirements. Work closely with System engineering teams to architect, define and implement innovative algorithms, calibrations, and protocols. Support post-silicon bring up, validation, performance characterization, system integration, and debug. What You Bring
Bachelors with 10+ years, Masters with 8+ years or PhDs with 5+ years of experience. Excellent coding skills in C programming. Strong understanding of physical layer concepts (e.g., modulation analysis (OFDM), channel estimation, radar) & MAC Layer Concepts. Experience in developing firmware for UWB communication protocols 802.15.4z and 802.15.4ab. Fluency in using lab equipment such as logic analyzers/oscilloscopes/network analyzers/spectrum analyzers/signal generators/power meters etc. Excellent problem-solving skills & analytical skills. Familiarity with UWB standards & domain knowledge of UWB PHY / MAC Specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience or knowledge on below domains: Modern UWB specifications like 802.15.4z/8092.15.4ab/FiRa/DCK/CCC.
