This award-winning addiction treatment center on the Westside of Chicago offers same-day, walk-in, free, behavioral outpatient recovery services, as well as early intervention, medical care, housing and employment support, and street outreach. Oversee the general operations of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care billings, Substance Use Prevention and Recovery billing and procedures. Timely and accurate billing for designated projects. Responsible for the billing, payment posting, follow-up of unpaid claims, and appeals. Responsible for follow-up and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided. Responsible for verifying patient registration information, obtaining prior authorization for services, and monitoring patient service utilization to maximize revenue for the department. Work with internal support teams and external partner networks, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Qualifications
High school diploma/GED Minimum 3 years experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing Knowledge of health care insurance processes Strong understanding of Kipu, DARTS, and Collab Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ready to Make a Difference?
