Senior Technical Lead, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure
Remote position. Able to work anywhere in the USA.
Overview Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Water Infrastructure within Ramboll's Global Water division. You will join an international company focused on sustainable water infrastructure, including large diameter sewer rehabilitation and design, large diameter transmission mains, and CSO expertise. You will work with Ramboll’s Water team, across the Americas and internationally, to support assessment, design, and rehabilitation of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Serving as a Technical Lead on larger, complex programs
Lead quality reviewer of work products and coordinate the work of other engineering disciplines into final design deliverables (calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates)
Prepare technical approaches for proposals and fee estimates for water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects
Train and mentor design and engineering employees
Participate in relevant professional affiliations to strengthen technical skills and represent Ramboll through technical presentations
Qualifications
B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent demonstrated expertise
Technical expertise in water and wastewater linear infrastructure design, including large diameter water transmission mains, sewage force mains and gravity systems, CSO, and/or stormwater conveyance systems
Experience in pumping stations and water storage design is a plus
Strong personnel development and mentoring skills
Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to clients, public audiences, and technical societies
Experience with trenchless pipe installation and rehabilitation technologies
Professional certification or licensure in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and/or Midwest regions with ability to obtain licenses through reciprocity
Client-facing experience and existing client relationships in the water/wastewater infrastructure and/or resiliency field is a plus
