Overview
Treasury and Risk Associate - Cash Management Team. We are looking for a proactive and analytical Treasury and Risk Associate to support the Cash Management function with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, automation, and innovation. This role will contribute to liquidity management, cash forecasting, and operational efficiency by leveraging modern technologies such as AI, data analytics, and programming tools. You will be part of the Cash Management and Settlements Group (CMS/TRY) within the Treasury Division of the Finance Department. The team is responsible for executing daily operational activities related to cash management and treasury operations, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. CMS also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support initiatives that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the Bank’s financial operations. Responsibilities
Liquidity Monitoring & Forecasting: Support daily liquidity management and forecasting activities using data analytics tools to improve accuracy and responsiveness. Cash Flow Analysis: Develop and maintain dashboards and models to analyze cash flows across currencies and accounts, identifying trends and anomalies. Automation & Innovation: Design and implement automated solutions for repetitive treasury tasks using Python, R, or other programming languages. AI-Driven Insights: Collaborate with internal teams to explore AI applications in treasury operations, such as predictive analytics for cash needs or anomaly detection in transactions. Data Governance: Ensure data integrity and consistency across treasury systems and reports, contributing to the development of data governance standards. Operational Support: Assist in the execution of payments, reconciliations, and settlements, ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal departments and external banking partners to resolve operational issues and enhance transaction flows. Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain interactive reports and visualizations to support decision-making and performance tracking. Project Participation: Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on digital transformation, system upgrades, and process optimization. Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree or equivalent advanced credentials in finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CFA Level I, Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or data analytics credentials (e.g., Python, SQL, Power BI) are desirable. Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in treasury operations, cash management, or financial data analysis. Experience with programming, automation tools, or AI applications in finance is a strong asset. Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is required. Requirements
