Job Description
This job is based in Seattle, WA, and the position requires occasional travel as it will be necessary at various times for the applicant to work in the field. A successful candidate is willing to learn the fundamentals of our business and apply them to estimating, scheduling, cost control analysis, and operational implementation. Working alongside Drill Tech professional engineers, project managers, and field crews, project engineers must demonstrate excellent communication skills, and the ability to organize multiple concurrent tasks are required.
Responsibilities
Submittal preparation. Document construction activities. Compile cost estimates. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget through job-cost tracking and project scheduling. Perform design engineering. Participate in interfacing with clients and design teams. Material procurement: order and manage materials and equipment. Track quantity takeoffs. Bid proposals.
Qualifications
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent. 3+ years of similar work experience. AutoCAD and scheduling software is required. Working knowledge of MS Office applications. We are looking for individuals with both tunneling and shoring capabilities and experience.
Compensation
Negotiable depending on relevant experience. Health benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage. 401k Plan, 5% company match
