WTTG/WDCA – Multimedia Content Manager (Regular Full-Time, Weekends) FOX 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus is a leading multimedia newsroom delivering news across broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms. The Multimedia Content Manager ensures engaging, high-quality content reaches our audience across media platforms. They lead the team to deliver informative, captivating, and flawless content, and they coach and mentor staff to perform at high levels daily. Role Highlights: Manage daily editorial flow, assigning multi-media journalists, photojournalists, and digital producers to cover daily news stories and events.

Supervise and schedule assignment desk staff.

Review scripts and digital content for all platforms.

Manage Live Streams for multiple platforms as needed.

Implement and have working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws impacting operations.

Assist editorial staff in developing all news coverage plans.

Work closely with executive producers on distribution of coverage.

Complete and deliver performance evaluations for direct reports.

Knowledge of and proficiency in posting content to station websites.

Perform other duties as assigned, reporting to the Assistant News Director/News Director.

What You’ll Need: Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred or equivalent experience; minimum eight years in a media environment; minimum three years in a managerial role.

Skills:

Advanced oral and written communication; strong computer skills, including Microsoft and cloud/web/mobile applications.

Technical:

Broad understanding of newsroom operations and equipment.

Leadership:

Proven leadership skills; fosters open dialogue, empowers others, and addresses conflict quickly.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $110,000.00–$140,000.00 annually, with final offer based on education, skills, experience, and location.
